In Overwatch however, the screen is flickering on and off every second, in menus, in game. In TF2, the problem isn’t too annoying, as it only happens during loading screens, once I’m in a game, it runs fine. When I open Overwatch or Team Fortress 2, my monitor turns itself on and off repeatedly. MSI GTX 970 Gaming (at factory stock clocks), driver 388.31 Heya, been having a problem with two games in particular and I’m not sure what’s causing it. When I uncheck it and start the game I have no issues (but I do have screen tearing in borderless mode, as that is per the design of the fullscreen optimizations option). In my case the issue only occurs in full screen when the option 'disable fullscreen optimizations' in the compatibility tab is enabled. That can cause compatibility problems, especially at. Go to the game's installation folder and check the properties of redout.exe. You can try turning off HDMI deep colour: Settings -> Display Settings -> Deep Color Output (HDMI). I've been messing around with it, and I found a way to stop it (outside of switching to borderless/windowed mode). The rate of flickering depends on my framerate as well. Also, I don't have any issues on driver version 388.00 or earlier (but Windows update auto-updated me to 388.13, and I have since updated to 388.31).

Only Redout and Formula Fusion have this issue for me, no other game does this.
